HTML Update Issue 5 (27/10/98)

Winamp Version 2.04 was released on 25 October 1998.  The new features of this version includes: -

• New Nitrane 1.24

  • Better sound Quality

  • Better corrupt MP3 handling

  • New experimental "Aural Stimulation" mode - Winamp Prefs ->I/O-> Nitrane Config -> General

• Added .ZIP skins support - drop a .ZIP skinsfile into your Skins directory (C:\Program Files\Winamp\Skins) instead of unzipping into a folder.

• New Winamp Installer and Uninstaller

• Bugfixes a plenty

I am currently working on Winamp Skins. Once completed, it will be my first Winamp Skins.  I have decided to call it Acid Amp.  The skins is currently half done.   I will upload it up to my server once I have completed.

In Newsletter Issue 3, I have mentioned about Acid Coltair MP3 Ring and also mentioned that it will be ready in a week or two.  Well, now it won't be ready.  I am currently busy and won't be able to put up the ring as scheduled.  I will put it up as soon as possible.

Since the last update, I have noticed that my web counter is increasing quite fast.   I am proud of it as the counter has just reached 6000+ two days ago.
